AT&T customers that owns the HTC One X could be receiving the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update real soon, this is hinted by what could be called an error on the part of the carrier. On thursdays a post was made on the carriers official blog and was later taken down. The post stated that the HTC One X would be getting the Jelly Bean update.
It seems as if the announcement was made accidentally as it was removed shortly afterwards. It might not happen today or tomorrow but this error hints that it could be coming really soon.
According to the carrier, the Jelly Bean update will deliver new features such as Google Now which offers the latest news and information, Project Butter for for lag-free UI responsiveness, an enhanced notification system which enables the user to read SMS and view MMS photos from the notification section.
The update would also add a new countdown timer to the front-facing camera which allows you to better capture self-portraits. It will also feature AT&T Locker Cloud-based storage which securely stores your documents, photos and videos without worrying about them falling into the wrong hands.
